Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Research Analyst to play a vital supporting role within our research team. In this position, you will be instrumental in executing our market research and target identification strategy, contributing to a consistent flow of high-quality, comprehensively analyzed companies that align with our clients’ investment criteria.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a solid foundation in market research and/or finance, eager to apply their analytical skills and contribute significantly to a critical research function while growing within a dynamic firm.

Key ResponsibilitiesResearch Process Support & Execution

• Support the end-to-end target identification process, from initial screening to assisting with the delivery of qualified targets to deal teams.
• Contribute to the firm's research strategy by performing detailed analysis to identify and qualify potential investment targets.
• Utilize and contribute to the refinement of scalable research workflows and best practices to enhance team efficiency and output quality.
• Assist in providing foundational research and target lists that support business development and client engagement efforts for senior leadership.

Research & Analysis

• Perform detailed, company-level research to identify opportunities and trends that align with our clients’ investment theses.
• Prepare clear and insightful reports, company profiles, and industry summaries for review by senior staff and deal teams.
• Effectively use a wide range of research tools and databases to uncover and confirm information on target companies.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate closely with internal research and sourcing teams, serving as a key contributor to target identification efforts.
• Prepare research findings and materials to assist senior team members in their internal discussions and client/stakeholder presentations.
• Work with other departments to ensure research activities are aligned with broader organizational goals.

Process Contribution & Learning

• Stay updated with market trends and new research tools, supporting efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the target identification process.
• Actively participate in identifying, evaluating, and suggesting new tools, databases, and methodologies to foster continuous improvement.
• Support research projects, ensuring contributions meet deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a role focused on research and analysis, such as in market research or financial analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to research and analyze information (both quantitative and qualitative) with a keen eye for detail.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and adept at learning and utilizing CRM systems (like Salesforce) and various data platforms quickly.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information into clear and concise formats.
• Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Personal Attributes: Self-starter who takes ownership of their work, is professional, accountable, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
