Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. in the Southwest seeks a Rental Manager (Heavy Construction Equipment) to lead the Rental Dispatch team, ensuring a smooth, high‑quality rental experience for customers and internal teams.

You’ll coordinate activity from quote to delivery and final billing, monitor queues, and partner with sales and leadership to keep equipment moving in the Lakeside region and beyond. If you have strong leadership, superb communication, and a customer‑service mindset, this on‑site role offers

• Lead and support the Rental Dispatch team.
• Coordinate rental activity from quote through delivery, return, and final billing.
• Communicate directly with customers to coordinate rental details.
• Monitor daily rental queues and reports to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with sales, rental professionals, and regional leadership.
• Partner with rental leadership on fleet utilization, transfers, and disposition.
• Serve as a point of escalation for dispatch questions.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities and help others succeed.
• Maintain a customer service mindset with clear, professional communication.
• Show strong organization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry experience in rental, construction, or equipment is preferred but not required.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
