Job summary

Redwood Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily renovation projects throughout Texas. You will manage due diligence, bids, scopes of work, and subcontractor coordination to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality finishes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in renovating large multifamily properties, strong budgeting skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Some travel is required; the role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or certificate program preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Construction Project Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for large-scale multifamily.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renovation of multifamily projects.
• General knowledge of construction practices.
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Travel may be required based on location of project.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing due diligence material, gathering bids, maintaining scope of work to deliver the finish package.
• Procuring local subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for bidding and execution.
• Managing the RFP process for renovation projects.
• Creating bid comparisons for scopes of work.
• Hosting Project Kick-off Meetings with on-site staff.
• Tracking and updating live budgets for renovation projects.
• Participating in project construction calls.
• Visiting project sites two days per week to monitor activity and inventory.
• Communicating progress schedules and revisions.
• Managing payment procedures and status with vendors/subcontractors.
• Coordinating with architects/engineers and local officials for permitting and inspections.
