Job summary

Repsol SA is seeking a Senior Associate for Origination, Commercial Analytics & Market Analysis in Downtown Houston. Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Energy Systems, Statistics, Business or related quantitative field.
• Master's degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Economics, MS Energy Systems, MS Analytics, or equivalent) preferred.
• 3-7 years of experience in renewable energy, power markets, energy trading, project development, energy consulting, infrastructure investing, utility procurement, or energy finance.
• Experience supporting origination, negotiation, and execution of renewable energy transactions (PPAs, VPPA, REC, capacity, etc.).
• Understanding of North American power markets (PJM, MISO, NYISO, ERCOT, WECC).
• Strong financial modeling and transaction valuation experience.

Responsibilities

• Support market intelligence to inform origination and commercialization strategies across major U.S. power markets.
• Conduct market outlooks, competitor analysis, and pricing trends for senior management.
• Support pricing, valuation, and margin analysis for renewable energy transactions.
• Develop investment committee materials and executive-level analyses.
• Partner with originators to identify and advance commercial opportunities and assist with RFP responses.
