Job summary

TerraForm Power seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical execution across utility-scale renewables from late-stage development through construction and turnover to Operations.

The role interfaces with EPC contractors, utilities, and suppliers, ensuring projects meet safety, schedule, and budget standards while upholding TerraForm Power’s technical guidelines. Travel to sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in power or renewable energy engineering.
• Experience with EPC project delivery and major equipment procurement.
• Knowledge of PJM and/or SERC interconnection processes preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for multiple projects from development through commissioning.
• Serve as primary technical decision-maker for assigned projects.
• Oversee EPC design deliverables and enforce governance and standards.
• Support RFP processes, technical bid evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Mentor Project Engineers and coordinate cross-project resources.
