Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation in Houston seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to act as Owner’s Representative, bridging late-stage development and commercial operations. You will lead contract negotiations, align interconnection requirements, and manage EPC partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 8–10 years in utility-scale Solar and BESS, PMP preferred, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in utility-scale power generation.
• 5+ years managing utility-scale Solar (PV) and BESS construction.
• Proven Owner’s Representative experience or working for an IPP/Developer.
• Proven track record leading LNTP and EPCA negotiations.
• Strong understanding of Project Finance, Tax Equity, and PPA milestones.
• PMP certification preferred; travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, structuring, and negotiation of LNTP and EPCA agreements.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction milestones and compliance.
• Align interconnection, permits, and schedule with contracts and risk controls.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and change management with EPC contractors.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and asset management teams to minimize exposure.
• Ensure safety culture and regulatory compliance across sites.
