RWE Americas, LLC seeks an experienced Sr. Procurement WTC, Grid, H2 Manager to oversee day-to-day sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services at favorable costs and terms.

The role requires supplier coordination, negotiation, and alignment with broader procurement strategy. The candidate will lead complex negotiations, design strategic procurement plans for renewable projects, and collaborate with Development, Construction and Finance teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience negotiating with Tier 1 suppliers on multimillion-dollar contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a commercial lead on highly complex and high-value procurement packages, including contracts for Grid Components.
• Design and implement procurement strategies balancing price, risk, and delivery for large renewable projects.
• Lead negotiations with Tier 1 Suppliers on multimillion-dollar agreements.
• Oversee preparation of advanced bid analyses to compare cost, scope, and risk.
• Draft award recommendation documents for executive approval.
• Provide expert commercial guidance to Development, Construction and Finance teams.
• Manage contract execution and administration for critical-path agreements.
• Identify procurement risks across projects and propose mitigations.
• Escalation point for supplier disputes; coordinate with Legal.
• Forecast procurement timelines and supplier capacity.
• Monitor market intelligence on EPC construction services.
