Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr. Procurement WTC, Grid, H2 Manager to oversee day-to-day sourcing and purchasing for large renewable energy projects. You will negotiate with Tier 1 suppliers, develop strategies, and guide internal teams on contract structures and pricing trends.

The role demands strong leadership, supplier relationship management, and the ability to coordinate across Development, Construction, and Finance. Office-based with travel to field locations in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a commercial lead on complex procurement packages and contracts.
• Design and implement strategies balancing pricing, risk, and delivery certainty for large renewable projects.
• Lead negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers on multi-million dollar agreements.
• Prepare advanced bid analyses ensuring cost, scope, and risk alignment.
• Draft award recommendations for executive approval.
• Provide commercial guidance to Development, Construction, and Finance teams.
• Oversee contract execution and administration for critical-path agreements.
• Identify procurement risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Escalate supplier disputes and maintain relationships.
• Forecast procurement timelines and supplier capacity for project pipeline.
• Monitor market intelligence on EPC construction services.
