Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr. Procurement WTC, Grid, H2 Manager to oversee day-to-day sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the business gets the material and services it needs on time, at competitive cost and terms.

This office-based role in the United States requires coordinating with suppliers, leading negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers on multimillion-dollar agreements, and guiding internal stakeholders on contract structures, market pricing trends, and supply chain risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum seven years of procurement experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Act as a commercial lead on complex procurement packages for Grid Components.
• Design procurement strategies balancing price, risk and delivery certainty for large projects.
• Lead negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers on multimillion-dollar agreements with favorable terms.
• Oversee advanced bid analyses ensuring cost, scope, compliance and risk alignment.
• Draft award recommendations summarizing strategy, evaluations and terms.
• Provide expert guidance to Development, Construction and Finance on contracts and market trends.
• Manage contract execution and administration for critical-path agreements.
• Identify procurement risks and propose mitigation across multiple projects.
• Escalation point for supplier disputes and maintain relationships.
• Forecast procurement timelines and supplier capacity for portfolio planning.
• Monitor EPC market trends and advise on competitive positioning.
