Job summary

PG&E in Oakland is seeking a strategic contributor to shape the procurement and sale of renewable (RPS) energy. You will actively participate in strategy development and analysis to support the company's energy procurement efforts, focusing on commercial excellence and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience with wholesale energy procurement and RPS/GHG-free positions preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to present to senior leadership.
Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategy.

Responsibilities

Analyze and present information to support robust renewable resource commercial strategy.
Manage solicitations and commercial transactions for RPS sales/procurement; prepare RFOs and negotiations.
Develop knowledge of PG&E's RPS position, renewables contracts and forecasts.
Analyze renewables portfolio and market data; understand PG&E's other portfolio positions and requirements.
Provide technical and strategic analytical support on energy procurement strategy; deliver executive briefings.
Lead strategy development and resolution of complex issues; influence key decision makers.
Analyze and develop strategy documents related to PG&E's RPS portfolio.
