Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Senior Product Safety Engineer for Renewable Energy in Littleton, MA. You will evaluate conformance of inverters, battery energy storage systems, EV equipment to industry safety standards, build test plans, and conduct on-site testing with clients.

Required are 5+ years in power electronics, plus strong communication and independent work skills. The role offers full-time employment with comprehensive benefits and travel up to 50% for on-site

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with utility interactive inverters and energy storage.
• Experience with EV switchgear and power conversion equipment.
• Knowledge of ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC and IEEE standards.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Aufgaben

• Independently conduct evaluations of equipment for standard compliance.
• Plan, coordinate and execute project work and inform clients.
• Read schematics and manufacturing instructions.
• Develop and set up test plans and perform testing per standards.
• Travel to customer sites up to 50%.
• Interact with clients, accreditors, and AHJs to resolve issues.
• Provide sales support and attend client visits.
