Job summary

Power System Engineering Inc in Madison, WI is seeking a Project Manager Renewable Energy to lead strategic energy projects from origination to closeout. You will coordinate electrical, civil, and structural disciplines and serve as the primary client liaison.

The role requires a strong engineering foundation and 8+ years of PM/engineering experience in energy or renewables, with preference for solar, BESS, or microgrids, and PMP/PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years of project management/engineering experience in energy or renewables.
• Experience managing engineering design or energy infrastructure projects; solar/BESS/microgrids preferred.
• Experience in consulting, utility, developer, or EPC environments preferred.
• PMP and/or PE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for renewable energy projects across the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate electrical, civil, and structural disciplines to deliver turnkey solutions.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans.
• Support procurement and contracting activities including RFPs and bid evaluations.
• Provide technical oversight for solar PV, BESS, and microgrids.
