Placements24 in Welkom, Free State, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from inception to completion. You will manage scope, budget, timelines, and resources, coordinating engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver solar, wind, or other initiatives on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (PMP is advantageous) and at least 8 years in project management, with 5+ years in renewables.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (required).
PMP certification is advantageous.
Minimum 8 years of project management experience, with 5+ years in renewables.
Experience delivering large-scale energy projects, preferably solar or wind.

Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of renewable energy projects from planning to closure.
Develop plans, schedules and budgets; ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
Lead engineers, contractors, and stakeholders; foster high-performance teams.
Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
