Job summary

DESRI seeks a talented developer to lead renewable energy projects or manage asset development in a role that may be titled associate or manager. The position involves identifying opportunities, coordinating with landowners, permitting authorities, and utilities, and advancing projects through development, financing, and construction stages.

You will translate complex information into financial models, work with a collaborative team, and help manage risk while controlling schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of renewable energy development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; analytical acumen.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in any field and a track record of achievement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, and implement early- and mid-stage renewable projects to mature development, financing, construction, and long-term management.
• Negotiate with landowners, permitting authorities, utilities, and off-takers to advance projects.
• Translate complex information into clear financial models and keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Focus on recontracting operating assets or developing surplus battery energy storage projects.
