Job summary

DESRI is seeking a talented Digital Infrastructure Development Manager to join its Development & Origination team. You will advance the commercialization and growth of DESRI’s digital infrastructure efforts across the U.S.

solar and storage portfolio, combining strong commercial judgment with analytical capabilities. The role is highly cross-functional, working with Development, Investments, M&A, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to move opportunities from initial evaluation through transaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy, power markets, infrastructure investing, project development, origination, M&A, or related fields.
• Experience with digital infrastructure, large-load customers, and the intersection of power markets and digital infrastructure.
• Understanding of renewable energy commercial structures (PPAs, storage tolling, capacity, RECs, hedges).
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with digital infrastructure customers, utilities, and related counterparties.
• Lead project development at sites with large load applications, coordinating permitting, real estate, interconnection, and financing support.
• Direct land and site diligence with internal teams and outside consultants, translating results into layouts, schedules, and risk mitigation.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities with data centers and large-load customers, considering generation, storage, and transmission impacts.
• Support project and portfolio acquisitions, including commercial due diligence and market analysis.
• Collaborate with Development, Strategy, M&A, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to move opportunities from evaluation to execution.
