Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks an experienced claims professional for a remote role focused on Texas workers’ compensation. The position requires 3-5+ years of indemnity desk experience, appropriate licensure, and strong knowledge of industry standards.

You will interact with clients, claimants, and legal teams to analyze exposure, determine action, and resolve claims while delivering empathetic service and adhering to policies and regulatory requirements. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and resolve claims.
• Interact with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients with empathy.
• Handle claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, per statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently, supporting the outcome of the claim file.
