Job summary

Gallagher Bassett, part of Gallagher Bassett, is seeking a Claims Adjuster to support workers' compensation claims. This fully remote role requires extensive claims experience, strong analytical skills, and a client-focused mindset to resolve complex exposures.

You will collaborate with clients and carriers, document activity, and ensure use of policies and ethics across jurisdictions. A high school diploma and relevant licenses are required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze exposure, plan actions, and resolve claims.
• Interact with parties in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants for clients with empathy at every step.
• Handle claims in accordance with policies, procedures, and ethics requirements.
• Document claim activity promptly to support outcome of the claim file.
