Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Transport Network Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain an end-to-end network automation framework that transforms designs into device-specific configurations and controlled production deployments.

The role integrates Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) for validation, Robot Framework for automated tests, and Cisco Catalyst Center for inventory, templating, provisioning, and compliance. You will reduce manual effort and improve reliability across multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6–10 with a master.
• Extensive experience with enterprise networking (routing, switching, data center, WAN).
• Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS, and routing policies.
• Experience with network automation, APIs, IaC, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain an end-to-end network automation framework.
• Integrate Cisco Modeling Labs (CML) for validation.
• Use Robot Framework for automated testing and validation.
• Develop templates and data models for sites, devices, interfaces, and IP addressing.
• Ensure traceability from design through deployment and production.
• Lead engineering collaboration across teams and provide technical mentorship.
