Job summary

PTC, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain automation for network configuration, provisioning, and orchestration across multiple sites.

You will develop Python scripts and Ansible playbooks, integrate automation into CI/CD, work with Cisco/Juniper gear, and help reduce toil while improving reliability and security in modern IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of network automation experience.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack, and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation for network configuration and provisioning.
• Integrate provisioning into CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployment.
• Develop Python scripts and Ansible playbooks for network devices.
• Use APIs/SDKs to interact with Cisco/Juniper platforms.
• Identify opportunities to reduce toil and automate repetitive tasks.
• Create automated test suites and validation for network infra.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.
• Troubleshoot incidents and implement monitoring and telemetry.
