Job summary

Gainwell Technologies seeks a Senior Subrogation Case Worker to manage probate and estate matters for Medicaid beneficiaries. You will handle intake, claims review, asset investigation, and court filings to support recovery.

This remote role requires 2+ years in subrogation or claims, proficiency with Word and Excel, and familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare programs. You will work with attorneys, providers, and clients to advance settlements while complying with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in subrogation, claims, or case management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; basic Access knowledge preferred.
• Experience in a legal or insurance office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and/or Medicare programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process probate and estate functions for Medicaid beneficiaries, including intake, reviews, and deadlines.
• Notate files, manage settlements, and handle 700–1,000 cases concurrently when needed.
• Interact with attorneys, adjusters, providers, court staff, and clients by phone and email.
• Prepare correspondence, liens, claims, and related documents to progress recovery.
• Ensure HIPAA and security compliance for PHI in all workflows.
• Verify eligibility of beneficiaries and conduct document reviews for case status.
• Coordinate third party liability review, probate, and beneficiary asset research.
• Negotiate settlements per contract guidelines and file notarized documents where required.
