Job summary

Gainwell Technologies in Florida is hiring a Medical Claims Recovery Specialist (Subrogation) to join a hybrid EST/CST team. The role processes probate and estate functions for Medicaid beneficiaries, including intake, claims review, asset investigation, court filings, and settlements.

You will manage HIPAA-compliant subrogation workflows, handle 700–1,000 cases, collaborate with attorneys and providers, prepare documents, and meet revenue-driven deadlines while leveraging strong analytical

Qualifications

• 2+ years of subrogation, claims, or case management experience.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; basic Access preferred.
• Experience in a legal or insurance office setting.
• Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage 700 to 1,000 subrogation cases with complex analytics.
• Interact with attorneys, adjusters, providers, and clients.
• Prepare correspondence, liens, and other documents to progress cases.
• Negotiate settlements and review claims with stakeholders.
• Ensure HIPAA and security requirements for PHI.
• Meet department goals and deadlines affecting revenue.
