Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud environments. You will collaborate with Delivery, Platform and Capability teams, driving automation to reduce toil and improve product engineering efficiency.

The role requires deep AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation expertise and strong leadership with mentoring skills. Remote work is supported with a focus on global delivery and local execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent
• 8+ years of industry experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent
• 8 years of related experience preferred
• Experience with AWS services such as RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, EKS
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies
• Experience in scripting and automation (Python preferred)
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Git platforms like Azure DevOps, GitHub
• Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with monitoring and dashboarding (CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Experience ITIL methodologies and programming in Java or .NET

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain new infrastructure environments and capabilities
• Collaborate with Delivery teams to meet client requirements
• Drive automation to remove toil and improve efficiency
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or availability issues
• Implement patching and vulnerability remediation policies
• Manage IAM roles and perform basic security audits
• Build and administer automated pipelines
• Administrate source code repositories in ADO
• Mentor and share knowledge among team members
• Participate in incident response and post-incident analyses
• Other duties as assigned by manager
