Job summary

SitusAMC Holdings Corp. is seeking an experienced AVP to lead infrastructure as code initiatives across AWS environments. You will collaborate with Delivery, Platform and Capability teams to build scalable, automated infrastructure and managed Kubernetes clusters.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of industry experience, strong AWS skills (RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, EKS), Terraform or CloudFormation, scripting (Python), and hands-on security, monitoring, and incident response expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or equivalent.
• 8+ years of industry experience; 2+ years in AVP-level role or external equivalent.
• 8 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with AWS services such as RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, EKS.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies.
• Experience in scripting and automation using Python.
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation development.
• Experience with Git platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub.
• Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and dashboards (CloudWatch, Datadog).
• ITIL methodologies knowledge is a plus.
• Programming in Java or .Net is desired.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure environments and capabilities.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to meet client requirements.
• Drive automation to remove toil and enhance efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts and dashboards.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or availability issues.
• Implement patching and vulnerability remediation policies.
• Manage IAM roles and conduct basic security audits.
• Build and administer automated pipelines.
• Administer source code repositories in ADO.
• Mentor and share knowledge within the team.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analyses.
