Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance field/property claims handling or adjusting experience.
• Professional development such as IIA or CPCU preferred.
• Obtaining Xactimate Level 1 certification within 1 year and Level 2 within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Handle assigned claims promptly with little direction, including complex losses.
• Make decisions within delegated authority and suggest settlements.
• Determine proper coverages and apply standard methodologies to close cases.
• Maintain current knowledge of lines, guidelines, and policy changes.
• Provide leadership and training to less experienced staff.
• Assist or prepare files for suit, trial, or subrogation.
