Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Scientist V for product measurement, research and silicon infrastructure. This fully remote role defines metrics, goals and reporting for infrastructure usage, capacity, and researcher productivity.

You will collaborate with a Senior data engineer to turn strategy into scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting. The ideal candidate has product analytics experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and can build measurement frameworks from scratch.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Data Scientist or equivalent with product analytics focus.
• Experience building metrics and reporting frameworks for new or unmeasured products.
• Advanced SQL with large-scale data warehouses.
• Strong Python for analysis and automation (pandas).
• Experience defining metric layers, dashboards, and reusable reporting with data engineering.
• Applied statistics for inference and experimentation.
• Strong stakeholder communication to influence leadership.
• Customer-focused, linking measurements to business outcomes.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Define success metrics and organizational goals for specialized environments.
• Build a measurement framework from the ground up for unmeasured areas.
• Analyze usage, capacity constraints, prototyping cycles, and researcher productivity.
• Treat internal infrastructure as a product with users, adoption patterns, and lifecycle stages.
• Translate leadership questions into analytical plans and recommendations.
• Partner with a data engineer to develop scalable data models, pipelines, dashboards, and reporting.
• Use SQL and Python to derive actionable insights from raw data.
• Present and defend metric definitions to senior stakeholders.
• Establish reliable, documented metrics guiding infrastructure planning.
