Qualifications

• 10+ years of polymer processing experience required.
• Hands on practical experience operating injection molding equipment; other processing methods a plus.
• Expertise in polymer materials and plastics processing; experience with OEMs or tiers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solve customer polymer processing issues using fundamental polymer knowledge and processing skills.
• Independently design experiments to study effects of processing variables on materials and customer products.
• Document results and processing parameters in standardized form and upload to repository.
• Understand polymer analytical testing and connect results to processing, chemistry, and observations.
• Interface with product teams to support new product development.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to keep customers updated on status and concerns.
• Develop processing recommendations for new and existing products for customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers to position Celanese as the partner of choice.
