Gusto is seeking a Senior Product Design Manager for Payroll to lead design in a high-impact area, shaping a platform used by millions of people. You will mentor designers, drive AI-enabled design initiatives, and partner with product, engineering, data, and operations to define a long-term UX vision and scalable design system.

Formación

• 8–10+ years product design experience, with at least 3 years leading design teams.
• Experience designing in complex domains like financial products or regulated environments.
• Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional partners and influence strategy.
• Strong systems thinking turning interconnected, complex workflows into simple experiences.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to explain design decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end design for Payroll, shaping experiences that help small businesses pay their teams correctly, on time, and with confidence.
• Define and communicate the long-term UX vision for Payroll, and rally multiple teams around it.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Ops and others to set strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives central to the user experience, simplifying payroll while preserving accuracy.
• Collaborate with Research and Data to uncover customer insights and translate them into UX priorities.
• Influence product and technical roadmaps by advocating for design quality and user needs.
• Define and scale shared patterns, principles, and standards that promote quality, consistency, and velocity.
• Manage and grow a team of designers, providing mentorship and hands-on support.
• Champion Payroll as the foundation of Gusto's People Platform across modules.
