Job summary

Peraton seeks a highly experienced Mobile Authentication Integration Engineer to support the DoD ICAM program, delivering secure authentication services for millions of users. This 100% remote role focuses on native iOS and Android integration, phishing-resistant authentication, and enterprise identity workflows.

You will implement OIE Embedded SDKs, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, PKCE, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and CAC/PIV integrations, while ensuring secure credential storage and compliant mobile security practices in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years with BS/BA; 6+ years with MS/MA; 3+ years with PhD.
• Extensive native iOS development experience in Swift and native Android development in Kotlin/Java.
• Experience integrating Okta Identity Engine (OIE) Embedded SDKs into native apps and secure token management.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and secure credential storage.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Okta Identity Engine Embedded SDKs into native iOS and Android apps.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, PKCE, and secure session handling.
• Develop secure mobile authentication workflows aligned with Federal standards.
• Implement FIDO2/WebAuthn, passkeys, and phishing-resistant authentication methods.
• Integrate CAC/PIV, Purebred, and other government mobile credentials.
• Manage secure storage of credentials in iOS Keychain and Android Keystore.
• Apply mobile security controls per OWASP Mobile Top 10; ensure secure network communications.
• Troubleshoot authentication, SDK, API, and mobile platform integrations.
• Design enrollment workflows per NIST SP 800-63; enable seamless in-app authentication.
• Collaborate in Agile DevSecOps environments with Federal cybersecurity teams.
