Job summary

Peraton is seeking a highly experienced Okta IAM/Identity Integration Engineer to support the DoD ICAM program. You will design, integrate, and sustain identity services using the Okta Identity Engine, implement secure authentication flows with the Okta Embedded SDK, and ensure RMF, STIG, and NIST compliance for enterprise systems.

This is a 100% remote role. You will configure OIE, enable OAuth/OIDC flows, implement phishing-resistant authentication, and develop mobile identity integrations for

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 5+ years or MS/MA with 3 years; PhD not required.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust.
• Experience configuring and administering Okta Identity Engine (OIE).
• Experience implementing Okta Embedded SDK and designing secure authentication flows.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, and related identity protocols.
• Experience implementing phishing-resistant authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn).
• Experience developing adaptive/risk-based authentication policies.
• Experience with identity federation (OIDC, SAML 2.0).
• Experience mobile authentication for native iOS and Android apps.
• Experience with token lifecycles (JWT, Access/Refresh).
• Experience with REST APIs and Postman.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and sustain identity services using Okta IAM.
• Implement secure authentication flows with Okta Embedded SDK.
• Develop mobile identity integrations for iOS and Android.
• Configure and optimize OIE for DoD enterprise workflows.
• Manage token lifecycles and API authentication patterns.
• Build identity automation with Okta Workflows and no-code tools.
• Ensure compliance with RMF, STIG, NIST guidance.
• Support DoD ICAM authentication across multiple apps.
