Strategic Comp, a leading workers' compensation insurer within Great American Insurance Group, seeks a Senior Loss Control Consultant for the Greater Los Angeles region. This remote-friendly role requires up to 60% travel and a company car.

You'll conduct loss control surveys, deliver risk-improvement recommendations, and provide training to insureds, drawing on 10+ years of experience in loss control and WC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10+ years of loss control experience preferred.
• The candidate should reside in the Greater Los Angeles territory.
• Strong workers' compensation knowledge with ability to conduct training programs.
• Basic knowledge of underwriting and product management skills.
• Broad knowledge of commercial lines, engineering principles, loss control concepts, and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Surveys and services commercial risks for workers' compensation coverage.
• Origins and manages service account scheduling for the territory.
• Meets or exceeds service standards.
• Provides risk improvement by recommendations for hazard control and client support.
• Conducts loss control services and training for customers to reduce losses.
• Participates in team activities to retain accounts.
• Maintains up-to-date professional capabilities in loss control for WC products.
• Follows company manuals and relevant codes and performs other duties as assigned.
