Job summary

Rand Simulation seeks a high- caliber FEA simulation specialist to deliver advanced ANSYS-driven analyses for client projects. You will lead simulations, interpret results, and propose design changes, while supporting account managers with scoping and solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of FEA experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to communicate complex results clearly. This is a remote role with occasional travel in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical/structural engineering or physics.
• 4+ years in mechanical or structural engineering with FEA/structural analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS Mechanical and multiple FS/FEA tools.
• Strong knowledge of linear and nonlinear dynamics, fatigue, and multiphysics.
• Proven client-facing experience and ability to scope solutions with account teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead simulations for client projects, interpret results, and propose design changes.
• Stay current with ANSYS platforms and expand toolset through training.
• Collaborate with sales to scope opportunities and guide customers to solutions.
• Analyze client needs and engineer workflows to fit service engagements.
• Provide training and technical support to ensure adoption of ANSYS tools.
