Job summary

American InterContinental University is seeking a Senior Faculty Development Specialist for AIUS Online (Remote) to design, deliver, and evaluate professional learning programs for faculty across instructional modalities. This role ensures alignment with accreditation standards and supports faculty onboarding, coaching, and strategic initiatives.

The position requires advanced knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and experience with educational technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in education, educational technology, instructional design, or related field.
• Experience in teaching adult learners.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in professional development.
• Experience with instructional design and educational technology.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and methods of instruction.
• Experience in communication and project management with faculty/leadership.
• Service-minded approach to stakeholder support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate professional learning programs and resources for faculty and staff across modalities.
• Research and advise on educational technologies and best practices aligned with AIUS's models.
• Coordinate ongoing communication with faculty and stakeholders via email and the Faculty Support Site.
• Support compliance with accreditation standards and assist onboarding of new faculty.
• Lead cross-functional projects within the Faculty Development and Support Team.
• Analyze participation and learning data to improve program effectiveness.
• Investigate and integrate AI and other emerging learning tools into development initiatives.
