Job summary

Globaltize is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to independently manage California employment law matters from filing through resolution. This fully remote role offers ownership of strategy, client communication, discovery, motion practice, depositions, negotiations, and resolution without billable-hour targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of California employment litigation experience, active California State Bar membership, and strong writing and deposition skills,

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar member.
• 5+ years of California employment litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage litigation from intake through resolution.
• Strong writing, motion practice, and deposition skills.
• Familiarity with FEHA and California employment law.

Responsibilities

• Manage California employment litigation caseload from filing to resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to each case.
• Handle written discovery and take/defend depositions.
• Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement documents.
• Prepare for mediations, court appearances, and negotiations.
• Communicate with clients and keep them informed throughout the process.
• Supervise law clerks and direct case-related work.
• Monitor deadlines and collaborate on strategy with leadership.
