Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Design Specialist to join a forward-thinking organization, supporting projects remotely. You will design detailed electrical schematics, BOMs, and documentation for complex systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams from a remote setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in electrical design, with strong ECAD tool expertise (Altium Designer, OrCAD) and a solid grasp of analog/digital electronics and embedded

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of electrical design and development experience.
Experience with ECAD software (Altium Designer, OrCAD).
Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, power supply design, and embedded systems.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for complex systems using ECAD software.
Perform component selection and specification based on design requirements, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Conduct thorough design reviews and simulations to validate electrical performance and identify potential issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, in a remote setting to ensure integrated system design.
Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.
Provide remote technical guidance during prototyping, testing, and manufacturing phases.
