BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Professional Liability Associate Attorney for a fully remote position based in the United States. The role handles sophisticated defense litigation in professional liability and legal malpractice, offering significant case responsibility and growth within a collaborative environment. Requirements include a J.D.

from an accredited law school, active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 6+ years of defense-side litigation experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of defense-side litigation experience.
• Experience in professional liability or legal malpractice defense preferred.
• Strong legal writing and motion practice skills.
• Anti-SLAPP experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Defend attorneys, law firms, judges, and other professionals in professional liability and legal malpractice matters.
• Manage and assist with complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle sophisticated motion practice, including Anti-SLAPP motions where applicable.
• Take meaningful ownership of cases and collaborate with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy.
