Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced defense litigator for a Senior Associate/Counsel role in South San Francisco. The position offers full remote, hybrid, or onsite work with access to the firm’s South San Francisco office as needed.

The candidate will manage litigation matters, drive strategy, take and defend depositions, and prepare cases for arbitrations and trials. CA bar license and 4+ years of defense litigation are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of defense litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Experience in general liability, retail liability, transportation defense, and/or product liability is a plus.
• Strong writing skills and strategic thinking ability.
• Experience representing companies and insurers in a defense-side practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Drive litigation strategy and represent clients in various legal proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue disposition motions.
• Prepare cases for arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
