Job summary

Altus Group is seeking a Senior Construction Consultant to join our U.S. Development Advisory team. You will provide independent construction risk advisory, review drawings, budgets, and reports to support lending decisions while traveling up to 50%.

This is a remote role based in the Eastern United States near a major airport, with travel up to half the time. You will collaborate with lenders, developers, contractors and internal stakeholders to expand our practice across multiple asset classes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• Hands-on experience overseeing, managing, or evaluating construction projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schedules, contracts, and specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent construction risk advisory and due diligence reports and recommendations.
• Lead construction loan monitoring and reporting with site inspections and draw validation.
• Assess project performance, costs, schedules, and risks to advise lenders.
• Manage relationships with lenders, developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
