Job summary

Altus Group seeks a Senior Construction Consultant to provide independent construction risk advisory and loan monitoring for lenders and developers across a diverse portfolio. This remote U.S. role is based in the Eastern region with up to 50% travel.

You will review drawings, budgets, schedules, and contracts, perform site inspections, validate draws, and prepare reports to support lending decisions while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Several years of hands-on experience overseeing, managing, or evaluating construction projects and familiarity with project controls, budgets, schedules, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent construction risk advisory and due diligence for lenders and developers across diverse portfolios.
• Lead construction loan monitoring and reporting, including site inspections and draw validation.
• Assess project performance, identify risks, and communicate findings with practical solutions.
• Manage relationships with lenders, developers, contractors, and stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
