Job summary

Appspace is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud configurations across GCP, Azure, and AWS. This customer-facing role emphasizes SaaS security, IAM, data encryption, and secure baselines, with a strong focus on GCP.

You will lead firewall reviews, access reviews, and risk assessments while guiding clients on best practices. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, deliver presentations, and drive security initiatives across multiple

Qualifications

• 7-10 years progressive cloud security experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform security services.
• Experience configuring Entra ID and Azure Cloud features.
• Securing SaaS applications and IAM.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud security architectures.
• Respond to customer inquiries with secure by design guidance.
• Review and resolve security alerts in SIEM and expand alerting/reporting capabilities.
• Lead incident response planning and remediation documentation.
• Engage with clients and present complex security concepts clearly.
