Job summary

Appspace is seeking a hands-on Security Architect to lead security transformations across AI, cloud, and application security. You will conduct penetration testing, guide remediation, and architect secure solutions for cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP while mentoring security engineers.

The role requires deep cloud security expertise, strong communication with clients, and a hands-on approach to implementing SSDLC and secure software development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Risk Management, or related field.
• 10+ years in information security with penetration testing and red-team experience.
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure software development practices.
• Hands-on security in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container environments (Kubernetes).
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CISSP or cloud-specific credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead security transformation initiatives for AI, cloud, and application security.
• Perform penetration testing and red-team activities; guide remediation efforts.
• Architect and implement secure security solutions for cloud-native and traditional apps.
• Mentor security engineers and client teams; communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Drive automated security testing adoption and SSDLC practices.
