Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives across the CMO/CDMO landscape. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage budgets, timelines, and risks while driving transformation programs and client engagement to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech project management, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance required.
• MBA, MS or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, CMO/CDMO, consulting, or related industries.
• 3–5 years of direct project or program management experience supporting strategic, operational, transformation, integration, or business initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience supporting business transformation, operational improvement, M&A integration, organizational change, or strategic planning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps using MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
• Drive project execution by tracking milestones and ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Lead cross-functional project meetings across Commercial, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Business Development.
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration to ensure timely decisions and issue resolution.
• Identify critical path activities, dependencies, risks, and challenges affecting timelines or budgets.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation processes.
• Monitor budgets, forecast resource needs, and support financial planning.
• Evaluate scope changes and impacts on timelines and resources.
• Support transformation programs and growth initiatives.
• Coordinate mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and client onboarding activities.
• Partner with functional leaders to align project activities with objectives and capabilities.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and governance materials for leadership.
• Maintain project documentation and risk registers to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement in PM processes and workflows.
