Job summary

Environmental Works, Inc. in Kansas City, MO seeks a Senior Project Manager for the remediation department to lead projects from scoping through closure, develop budgets and work plans, oversee field activities, and communicate with clients and regulators.

Candidates should have 8+ years of project management, RBCA experience in MO/Kansas, a relevant environmental degree, professional licensure; Master’s degree is a plus. Flexible core hours with some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Four (4+) years of field experience.
• Six (6+) years RBCA for petroleum tanks and cleanup in MO/Kansas; IL experience a plus.
• Eight+ years project management experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in environmental site investigation, risk assessment, and remediation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Scope, budget, and work plan development with oversight of field activities.
• Source opportunities, proposals and cost estimates.
• Lead field activities with junior staff.
• Manage samples and use of instruments.
• Plan and oversee investigation/remediation activities.
• Coordinate with regulators and clients.
• Prepare clear, concise reports with data presentation.
