Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Senior Reliability Technician to join the Reliability team. You will conduct cell and module tear-downs, inspect and measure components, collect samples, and document findings to inform failure analysis.

Collaborate with engineers and facilities while maintaining high safety standards in a hands-on laboratory setting. You will contribute to critical battery technology development and daily impact on grid reliability and sustainability, with attention to quality,

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a technician in a technology field.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Experience using and maintaining tools and lab instruments.
• Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing PPE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with pre- and post-test analysis and inspections, and preparing reports of inspection results.
• Comfort using Gsuite tools (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform cell and module tear-downs for failure analysis.
• Measure physical and electrical properties of components.
• Collect samples for analytical testing.
• Document inspection findings in a database.
• Maintain lab equipment and uphold safety standards.
• Coordinate with Engineers, Facilities and Shipping/Receiving.
• Conduct post-test analysis and inspections with attention to detail.
