Job summary

Coreshell Technologies is seeking a Battery Test Engineer to own the testing infrastructure, ensuring high uptime and reliable operation for cell development and manufacturing. You will install, commission, calibrate, and maintain equipment, while coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and traceability for downstream analysis.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab operation, metrology accuracy, and scalable test data pipelines in a fast-moving development

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on battery test engineering experience.
• Experience with cyclers, thermal chambers, and environmental equipment.
• Metrology calibration of test systems (voltage/current, thermocouples).
• Experience with data management tools (SQL, Python).
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain battery test infrastructure.
• Coordinate with test equipment vendors and manage service contracts.
• Develop calibration and preventive maintenance programs for testing equipment.
• Design experimental test setups and standardized protocols.
• Manage test data integrity, tagging, and traceability for analysis.
• Collaborate with Cell Development, R&D, Manufacturing, and QA teams.
• Lead troubleshooting of test hardware, sensors, and data systems.
• Define data schemas and ML-ready datasets with data science teams.
