Job summary

Nextpower Inc is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Mesa, AZ (Hybrid). You will develop and drive reliability strategies across the product lifecycle for utility-scale inverter systems, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, service, and supplier teams to meet availability and lifecycle targets.

The role requires 8+ years in reliability engineering, strong hands-on testing experience (accelerated life, HALT/HASS, environmental, thermal, and electrical), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in reliability engineering or a related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of reliability engineering or a closely related field.
• Hands-on expertise with accelerated life testing and reliability demonstration testing.
• Experience with field failure, warranty data, and service records to identify failure mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliability plans across design, production, field deployment, and end-of-life.
• Define and execute qualification, HALT/HASS, environmental, thermal, electrical, and mechanical testing.
• Analyze lab, production, and field data to identify trends and improve products.
• Lead field-failure investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Perform Weibull and life-data analyses to characterize performance and failure behavior.
