Milliken and Company in Inman, SC is seeking an Engineering Services Professional to lead lifecycle reliability for production equipment, electrical and instrumentation systems in a PSM-regulated environment. You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, perform root cause analyses, and support safe maintenance execution.

This role mixes hands-on troubleshooting with reliability engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, mentoring technicians

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Reliability Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or related process industry (preferred).
• Experience developing or improving preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Hands-on RCA/RCFA experience and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment specs.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and utility assets.
• Lead or participate in RCA/RCFA for significant failures and establish corrective actions.
• Create equipment strategies, standards, inspection frequencies, and acceptance criteria based on risk and manufacturer recommendations.
• Collaborate with planners, technicians, Operations, and contractors to improve maintenance planning and execution.
• Support outages, turnarounds, and capital projects while ensuring safety and reliability.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive reliability improvements.
