Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical role.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in advanced (R&D) engineering or new product development programs.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (no CPT/OPT/H‑1B, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead comprehensive system reliability and safety program plans; track progress and make recommendations for gate decisions.
• Lead Design for Reliability (DfR) initiatives for electrical distribution and control systems; allocate requirements.
• Build system-level reliability models and manage a reliability growth plan.
• Oversee PROLaunch/DFSS projects and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives as applicable.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams using A3 and 8D methodologies; implement permanent corrective actions.
• Analyze warranty and field failure data to identify trends and establish reliability metrics.
