Job summary

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Release Manager to oversee build and release processes for the Fortnite Ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with producers, engineers, QA, and publishing to ensure timely, high-quality releases across multiple platforms.

You will develop scalable release practices, manage certifications, and guide cross-team coordination while ensuring content aligns with sales and promotions. This role supports North American locations.

Qualifications

• Strong production/project management skills and people management experience.
• Ability to develop and improve processes at scale.
• Experience with build and release processes for software or games as a service.
• Familiar with Perforce, Jira, Grafana, Airtable.
• Exposure to platform certification processes.
• Technical orientation and understanding of software development.
• Knowledge of game development and live titles.

Responsibilities

• Develop new practices to scale release management across the Game Dev ecosystem.
• Own scheduling, coordination, quality control, and external certification across platforms/products.
• Coordinate development plans and releases between multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Define release content plans related to sales and promotions; shepherd through approvals.
• Collaborate with QA, Build Engineers, Lead Programmers to monitor builds and resolve failures.
• Work with QA Leads to manage bug triage and release notes and ensure approvals.
