Job summary

Epic Games seeks a Senior Release Manager to oversee the Fortnite ecosystem's build and release processes. You will collaborate with producers, programmers, build engineers, and QA to ensure timely, high‑quality deployments across platforms.

You’ll develop scalable practices, own scheduling, and coordinate across teams to deliver features and events with robust release notes and certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong production/project management skills.
• Experience with build and release processes for Software or Games as a Service.
• Familiar with Perforce, Jira, Grafana, Airtable.
• Exposure to platform certification processes.
• Technical orientation and understanding of software development.
• Knowledge of the game development process and working with shipped/live titles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale release management practices across the Fortnite ecosystem.
• Own scheduling, coordination, quality control, and external certification across platforms/products.
• Coordinate plans between multiple development teams and external partners.
• Shape release content plans related to sales, promotions, and events.
• Monitor automated build processes, troubleshoot failures, and communicate impacts of merges.
• Maintain bug triage and release notes, ensuring approvals before live deployment.
