Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT release management on federal programs.
• 3+ years coordinating deployments across multiple Agile/SAFe teams.
• Experience with release calendars, CI/CD, and IT change control (CAB).
• Ability to author comprehensive federal health systems release docs.
• Knowledge of VA OIT standards and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead release governance, IT change control, and deployment coordination.
• Manage release calendar in ServiceNow, align with master schedule.
• Quality-check Build Release Packages with code, tests, and ATO docs.
• Oversee Change Advisory Board reviews and change traceability.
• Coordinate IOC phases, zero-disruption cutovers, and rehearsed rollbacks.
• Oversee 90‑day hypercare and post‑deployment defect tracking.
• Track deployment metrics and contribute release strategies to proposals.
• Develop reusable release templates and mentor team members.
